Salary Range: $35,000 - $40,000 annually

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join our team! You will assist in resolving computer-related issues for our clients and act as a "virtual IT administrator." This includes onsite and remote support services and the ability to share expertise on support services when requested by peers and clients. This individual must possess very strong customer service, communication, desktop troubleshooting skills, and basic server and networking troubleshooting. They must enjoy solving a wide variety of problems on a continual basis and will lead/participate in hardware and software deployments, procurement and disposal. This technician will be responsible for all work assigned to them until completion of tasks and should communicate status updates regularly with clients. Our desire is to build a long term relationship with clients and provide them a resource for all of their technology needs.


  • Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software
  • Resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or electronically
  • Recommend hardware and software improvements
  • Track customer issues and resolutions
  • Plan, install, configure, and manage computer workstations and related network devices.
  • Ascertain the criticality of incoming requests and triage.
  • Ability to translate technical terms into nontechnical language; understanding of computer terms and acronyms.
  • Ensure that customers receive the highest level of customer service
  • Maintain productivity goals.
  • Configure customers systems to their required specifications
  • Maintain client documentation in an accurate and timely manner

Education, Certifications, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science (or related field) is not necessary but preferred
  • A minimum of one to three years experience in a help desk environment
  • Must have obtained one or more of the following certifications: CompTIA A+, Windows 7, Windows 10, or Office 365
  • Must have experience with a Domain Environment, data communications/networks and application environments


**Must have reliable transportation. Phantom Technology Solutions maintains a physical office location in the Northern Indiana area, however client needs often dictate an onsite visit to provide support. Mileage is reimbursed. Depending on the situation, support may be rendered via phone, email, remotely, or onsite. Any offer of employment is contingent upon the results of a pre-employment drug test and background check.
